Hi, I’m Kevin, and I’m delighted to welcome you to my website.
With more than 30 years’ of running my own legal practice in Dublin, I am as passionate today about helping people as I was the first day I opened my doors. I am convinced being people-centred is hard coded in my DNA – as is my love for the law, and of course, Leinster Rugby!
I qualified as a solicitor in 1980 following an apprenticeship with my uncle at Hussey and O’Higgins. After a number of years gaining broad experience in private practice including a period in the Country and then with Arthur Cox in Dublin city, I took the plunge and ventured out on my own.
As a sole practitioner, I really enjoy working on a one-to-one basis with my clients and providing a trusted service.
I have extensive experience and expertise in a range of matters from buying or selling a house, landlord and tenant law, and in family law and wills, probate and estates, to commercial disputes, employment law and franchising. When we work together, you can be confident of:

As a Past President of the Law Society (2015) and the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association (DSBA) (2009/10), as well as a former Editor of the DSBA’s Parchment Magazine, I am always readily available to support my colleagues and the development of our sector. This means I know my colleagues and they know me – which then makes it easier to smoothe problems that may arise in transactions or disputes. It is important to me to uphold the values of our legal framework and bring a human approach to the law with the ultimate goal of looking after people.
